New homes in Palo Alto
The proposal from Golden Gate Homes would bring 16 homes to the 2.46-acre property near the intersection of Maybell and Clemo avenues in Palo Alto. Four year ago Palo Alto Housing Corporation proposed for a 60-unit apartment building for low-income seniors and 12 single-family homes along the perimeter on the same place, but that project was overturned in a citywide referendum. Instead of the affordable housing, this is just more single family homes in Palo Alto for millionaires. At least if you make between $150,000 to $250,000 annually you qualify for that new housing subsidy in Palo Alto.
