New Homes in Santa Clara County

SummerHill Homes commences construction of new homes in Santa Clara on Winchester Boulevard at Forest Avenue, the site formerly know as BAREC. Bay Area Research and Extension Center (BAREC), a 17-acre research farm was run by the University of California since 1921 until 2003. The project consists of 110 single family homes, 163 affordable senior apartments units and a one-acre park. It is just across the street from Westfield Valley Fair Shopping Mall and a block away from upscale shopping, residential, dining and entertainment complex Santana Row.

SummerHill Homes expects that new Santa Clara single-family homes will be ready for sale within two years, while it will take one more year to complete two apartment buildings for low-income seniors facing the active Winchester Boulevard.
